A lot of people have different opinions on this. Some think it has to have lineair progression when afk and exponential progression when active. Some say that a simple mechanic like clicking is enough to be seen as idle. I'm in the camp of the latter

an idle game requires the game to give progress while sitting idle
and again you only have ONE upgrade in this
I do appreciate your input and the game is a prototype. I apologize that the game doesn't fit your description of an idle game.
Would you enjoy the game more if it had cookie clicker mechanics with afk progression?
